Nipple Discharges
Train your eyes to look out for stains on your clothing due to nipple discharge.
Erosion
Train your eyes to look out for abrasions on the skin. This would usually be associated with a lump beneath the erosion.
Retracted Nipple
Train your eyes to compare both nipples. Look out for a recent retraction (pulling-back) of any one of the nipples.
Orange peel appearance (Peau d’orange)
Train your eyes for a breast surface that looks like the peel of an orange.
Asymmetrical Breasts
Train your eyes to appreciate if both your breasts are of equal size or not. Any recent increase in size of one of the breasts, needs attention.
Hardening
Train your eyes to see if both your breasts move equally on forward bending. Observe if any of the breasts, or any part of the breast, does not move equally.
Red or Hot presentation
Train your eyes to look out for red surfaces which may or may not feel hot.
Prominent Veins
Train your eyes to look out for any visible veins on the surface area of the breast
Dimpling of skin
Train your eyes to look out for any part of the breast that may have a dimple.
Size Change
Train your eyes to increases or decreases in the size of a breast.
Hidden Lump
The appearence of the breast is normal to the eyes. The only sure way to detect your lump is to do a regular trained Breast Self Examination.
Visible Lump
Train your eyes for a bumpy-appearence on any part of the breast.
