Jagruti School for the Blind - Health Awareness Camp

The women (the ladies of our classes, mothers of the children and teachers of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Municipal School) who participated were not only happy but truly appreciative of the comprehensive health check-up and personalized counselling provided to them. The initiative gave these women an opportunity to prioritize their health -a valuable step towards women empowerment.

Where our lead Nakushi Mahatugde defied 2 mammograms reports and one thermaacan report and saved the life of this 39 year old by detecting bilateral breast cancer. TIPF sponsored her full treatment bilateral Mastectomy Chemotherapy and radiotherapy and hormone therapy. Poem by our team member Poonam Khule
